![]() ![]() So when you hit level 16 you dismiss one of your regular crew, it's okay it won't hurt their feelings, hire a merc, respec them into thievery, and equip them with all the max thievery gear, sell all the crappy common armor and weapons they come equipped with for a small profit, then do the loop again. But then you remember that Sergeant Zrilla hires out mercenaries who can all steal from each vendor once just like your other characters. You'll have to wait a bit or level up after each loop for their inventories to refresh.īut then, you'll realize that you did all this before level thresholds where higher tier crafting supplies, rune frames, source skillbooks, and divine quality gear are available and for a moment you think that you should have waited until level 16 before going through all that trouble. Do this for every character in your party to get the most loot. After a few times you'll get good at it to where you can clear every vendor on the map in just a few minutes. Do a loop where you steal the whole inventory from all the vendors you want to hit, safely Waypoint away when needed. Other vendors you can isolate by teleporting them when you're far enough away while they're in conversation as to not aggro them. Some vendors that frequently interact with objects like Baran Levere's chair and the Advocate's braziers can be lured into secluded locations by moving those objects. Have an accomplice/face convo lock your vendors so you can safely peruse their pockets. Get all Waypoint unlocks to places where vendors hang out, and drop pyramids next to vendors that are far away from Waypoints. Get all your max thievery gear you want in act 2. But it’s funny, and I’m really generating a lot of loot. I think he’s at like 9 lucky charm total now, while also having 3 or 4 loremaster and some bartering.ĭid I really need 9 lucky charm? No, probably not. 50 turns of +2 lucky from Zharat, and another +2 lucky from being drunk. After we went around and got attitude up on all of the vendors I wanted in Reaper’s Coast, Ifan went back to Driftwood to have a fun night with Zharat and has been drunkenly telling the dreamer in the undertavern about it ever since (aside from a few times where I teleported him to do a story scene and then sent him back with another beer). ![]() I’m currently doing a “solo” playthrough with Ifan as a civilian companion to help with civil skills. Being drunk gives +2 lucky, and being in conversation prevents the status from ticking down. You can have your lucky character drink a beer and then talk to someone whenever you’re going to loot a large area. If your barterer isn't a elf you can use a specific mask of shapeshift to turn into an elf and then eat it. You can decide to cannibalize his head and gain a +1 point in bartering for free. Once you do kill him and get his head as a quest item. There is a dude in the inn named Garter I think, well he is a quest giver and at one point there is a desicion to kill him or not to retrieve his head. Picking a specific barterer helps only selling through that character. Becoming friendly with vendors by giving them trash items or gold for free gives you friendly status and thus better discounted items. The honey pots become reusable empty pots after crafting so all this equals profit. Bee hives have infinite source of honey and making arrows is cheap. Making arrows and combining honey pots makes charming arrows that can be a good source of income. Vendor Prices, Bartering & Attitude FormulaĬrafting is a pretty good source of income.
